When I found myself facing an IRS audit, I was understandably anxious about the situation. However, Joel stepped in and provided exceptional guidance and support. His expertise saved me over $100,000, an incredible result that I never imagined possible.
The Tax Analysis that finds $10K–$40K you're overpaying. From a firm that picks up the phone.
Ran the calculator? Grabbed the checklist? You've seen the gaps — this is the done-for-you version where we close them. Built for $250K+ households, business owners, and real estate operators who are tired of "just pay more taxes" preparers and ghosted phone calls. The way we work this is kinda like going to the doctor — three years of returns + IRS transcripts pulled forward, every strategy modeled, every missed dollar ranked. Boutique San Antonio firm, serving clients nationwide via Google Meet. We're super thorough. We don't do surprises.
30-minute call. No card required. We ask the right questions and recommend the tier that fits — or tell you it's not for you.
Watch how the Tax Story Match™ works, before you book.
Ramon walks you through what we actually do during the two weeks, what the deliverable looks like, and why most clients model $10K–$40K in year-one savings.

Hands down, the very best accountant/business consultant that I've ever worked with. Their expertise saved me time and money. The services I've used them for: LLC creation, business bookkeeping, crypto bookkeeping, and managing my personal taxes.
Extremely competent accountant and tax strategist, combined with excellent work ethic. You just don't get service like this anymore. Very knowledgeable, can-do attitude, treats you like family. Saved us an unbelievable amount of money — so worth every penny.
That's incredible, man. That's incredible.
Reacting when we explained our payment-authorization protocol — we don't touch client money without explicit per-transaction sign-off.
Three real situations. Three real numbers.
A 1099 medical contractor cleared $145K net and was paying full self-employment tax on every dollar. Their prior preparer never raised an S-corp election. After we modeled reasonable comp, the structure saved them an estimated $11K in year one and put a real retirement vehicle on the table for the first time.
"Our W-2 taxes are getting slaughtered. Every time I asked my preparer what we could do, he said: just pay more taxes." A dual-income household added five rentals across four states. We modeled cost segregation on the highest-basis property, fixed the titling on two LLCs, and surfaced a 1031 path that would have been missed. Year-one savings: $30K–$40K.
A San Antonio owner ran six Airbnbs through an S-corp set up by a prior preparer. That preparer had quietly moved the properties to the personal return and was billing a single Turo line through the entity. We rebuilt the structure with the right basis and recovered ~$18K in misapplied tax from prior filings.
If "just pay more taxes" was the answer, you're our client.
Most of our prospects come in saying the same things. Their preparer stopped picking up the phone. The software stopped fitting their situation. Their tax bill keeps going up and nobody's explaining why. The Tax Analysis is for one of these three.

The Tax Story Match™ — three stories that have to line up.
Make your bank, books, and tax return match. Every business owner has three tax stories running in parallel: what the bank says, what the books say, what the return says. If these don't match, your tax return is built on guesses. When they do match, planning becomes possible.
What the statements say
Every dollar in, every dollar out, across every account. The raw record. If it isn't reconciled against your books, none of what comes next is real.
What the books say
Categorized, reconciled, and tied to your business reality. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow. The bank story translated into the language of your business so it can be defended in an audit and used in a plan.
What the return says
Federal and multi-state returns filed by licensed practitioners. When the return ties cleanly to the books, which tie cleanly to the bank, you have a full tax story — and only then is real advisory and planning possible.
Four steps. One door in.
It starts with The Tax Story Match™ — a 30-minute diagnostic Ramon runs himself. We map your income, entities, and pain points to the right tier and the right strategies. Not a sales pitch. A real conversation that earns the right to do the deeper work.
- Step 01
The Tax Story Match™
A real conversation, not a sales pitch. We review your numbers through Tax Story Match™, identify the mismatches and what they're costing you, and map the next 90 days to get matched + predictable. By the end of the call we recommend Standard, Comprehensive, or Strategic — or tell you it's not the right time.
- Step 02
Onboarding
You pay the invoice. We meet again to sign your MSA, file your IRS Power of Attorney, and walk you through your private Basecamp portal. From this point forward, every IRS notice routes through us first.
- Step 03
Upload & analyze
You upload three years of returns and supporting docs. We pull three years of IRS transcripts. Our advisory team builds your forward strategy against your real numbers and comes back with follow-up questions before finalizing.
- Step 04
Delivery & walkthrough
Our lead tax advisor walks every page of your strategy. Ramon stays on as your engagement partner. Forward-looking plays, dollarized. You leave with the document, the ranked action list, and a custom quote if you want us to execute the plan with you going forward.
One Framework. Three depths.
Sounds expensive? See the math. Comparable tax planning work at big firms starts at $25,000–$50,000. Ours starts at $2,500 and credits to your first month of full-service work. Same depth, smaller team, no partner billable hours.
For households and owners with income under $500K. The right entry point for W-2 earners, 1099 contractors, and small business owners who want a real second opinion before going deeper.
- 3-year return review
- 3-year IRS transcript pull
- IRS Power of Attorney filed at onboarding
- Top 3 strategies modeled forward
- 60-min advisory session
- Private Basecamp portal
- Forward-looking action list
For households and owners with income $500K–$5M. S-corp candidates, real estate investors with 1–6 doors, and dual-income high earners with rentals, RSUs, or recent equity events. The standard engagement most clients choose.
- Entity structure & reasonable comp
- Investment-asset strategyReal estate (cost seg, STR/LTR, 1031), crypto (mining, staking, harvesting), small business or equity holdings. Whatever you actually own. We build the strategy around your assets, not a template.
- Retirement vehicle stacking
- 3-year forward strategy plan (2026–2028)
- 90-min advisory delivery session
- Ranked, dollarized action plan
- Extension filed free if needed
For households and operators with $1M+ HHI, 3+ entities, syndication positions, or post-exit founders. Multi-state, complex K-1 coordination, equity comp, exit planning. The tier where your bench (CPA, attorney, advisor) finally coordinates.
- Review across all entities
- Multi-entity restructure modeling
- Cost segregation feasibility studies
- 1031 exchange planning
- Reasonable comp deep-dive (per owner)
- 12-month quarterly tax forecasting
- Two 90-min advisory sessions
- Custom bonuses built from your data
Full-service engagements are monthly retainers. Your Analysis fee credits to your first month, so the Analysis is effectively free if you continue. About 70% of clients do. The other 30% take the plan back to their existing preparer. Either is fine. We quote ongoing work during the analysis delivery, never on the discovery call.
Skin in the game. On both sides.
We don't pretend we can guarantee dollars before we've seen your data. Anyone who does is selling, not advising.
It's like showing up to surgery, but I know what's wrong with you.
The two-ways-you-win commitment
If you engage us for ongoing work, the entire $5,000 credits to your first month. If you don't continue, you walk away with a plan you can take anywhere. And if we don't surface at least $10,000 in tax savings and opportunities, your analysis is on us — we refund the fee in full. Either way, you can't lose money on this.
Senior-only delivery promise
Every page of your strategy is authored by a senior advisor. No associates, no juniors, no outsourcing. That's also why we onboard only 3 new full-service clients per month, across all three tiers. We'd rather turn business away than dilute the quality of your plan.
Response guarantee
Every question goes through Basecamp. We respond within 1–3 business days during the engagement. If we miss that window, your first month of ongoing advisory is on us.
What this is, and what it isn't.
Starts at $2,500. We'd rather turn you away today than waste your year. Here's the honest line.
This is
- A written, defensible plan tied to your real numbers
- A licensed second opinion on what your current preparer is doing
- A 3-year forward roadmap with deadlines and dollar impact
- Yours forever, whether you engage further or not
This isn't
- A loophole hunt or a TikTok strategy dump
- An aggressive position you can't defend in an audit
- A sales call disguised as a free consultation
- A tax return. Prep is a separate engagement.
Common questions.
How do I pick a tier?
You don't pick the tier. We do, on the discovery call, based on your situation. Standard ($2,500) is the single-entity 3-year diagnostic for simpler households. Comprehensive ($5,000) is the multi-entity, multi-state engagement and what 70% of clients land on. Strategic ($10,000) is for $1M+ HHI households with 3+ entities, syndication positions, or post-exit complexity (Tax Defense Plan included). We won't sell you up, and we won't sell you down. We tell you what fits and you decide.
Why does the Analysis cost what it does?
Because you walk away with a real plan, not a sales pitch. Every tier pulls returns, requests your IRS transcripts under power of attorney, models the strategies that actually apply to you, and includes a sit-down advisory session. The fee credits 100% toward ongoing work if you continue. At the Comprehensive tier and above, the savings we model usually exceed the fee in year one alone.
I'm just W-2. Do I really need this?
Honest answer: probably not, unless your household clears $150K and there's something extra (rentals, RSUs, a recent home sale, a side business). At $150K–$250K with one of those, the Standard tier ($2,500) is the right fit. Under that, our Tax Review at $1,000 may be the right starting point. We'll tell you which one fits when we talk.
How is this different from my current tax preparer?
Most preparers file. We plan. The 3-year look-back almost always surfaces missed deductions, wrong elections, or strategies your preparer never raised. We'll show you exactly what those are and what they're worth. If your current preparer is doing all of that already, you don't need us, and we'll say so.
What do I actually get when it's done?
Ten concrete deliverables: a 3-year return review, IRS POA filed, IRS transcripts pulled, entity structure review, real estate strategy, year-ahead plan, a 90-minute advisory session, your private Basecamp portal, extension filed free if needed, and a ranked action list. All organized in your portal for the life of your engagement. The deliverable is yours to keep.
How long does it take?
Two weeks is typical from the day your documents are in. If your situation is time-sensitive (a relocation, a sale, an IRS notice), we route urgent questions to our senior advisor inside the first 72 hours. We file extensions free for any client mid-analysis so the deadline never forces a rush.
I've been burned before. How do I know you'll actually be there?
Fair question. Everything runs through Basecamp, a private secure portal. Every document, every question, every meeting recap lives there, organized in one place. You message us inside Basecamp. We respond within 1–3 business days. You never wonder where things stand because the entire history is in one place. Our response guarantee above is real.
Do you file my return after?
Only if you want us to. Tax prep is a separate engagement. About 70% of our analysis clients move to ongoing prep, bookkeeping, or advisory. The other 30% take the plan back to their existing preparer. Either is fine.
Not ready for the full Analysis?
Start with our Tax Review at $1,000. A one-year look at last year's return with three to five improvement recommendations. Best for simpler W-2 households who want a second opinion before committing.
Stop guessing what your tax bill should be.
Book a 15-minute Discovery call. We'll ask the right questions and recommend the tier that fits — Standard ($2,500), Comprehensive ($5,000), or Strategic ($10,000). Or tell you it's not the right time and point you somewhere else.
